Tuesday, January 31st, 2012

Signworld Group were recently awarded with the sign contract for the prestigious ‘The Chester Fields’, a new Bar and Restaurant located within the heart of the Cheshire countryside in Mickel Trafford. On the outskirts of Chester, this newly constructed restaurant is located within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The location demanded sensitive yet eye catching signage which accurately reflected The Chester Fields business model and reputation for great food and fine wines in an enjoyable friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

The brief was to design and manufacture, rustic, earthy yet natural looking signage that reflected the companies high standards. Signworld produced various concepts with the winning specification being a combination of Red cedar wood planks which were artificially aged and dyed, complete with chunky fabricated white stand -off lettering with subtle concealed rear mounted LED illumination, which created a fabulous warm glow around the lettering and against the cedar planking.  Signworld Group’s expert team also manufactured the massive main sign, mounted to the face of The Chester Fields building, along with several free-standing monolith signs again using natural timber products which reflected this unique restaurants fine reputation, the signage has received much praise from the owners and customers alike who have remarked on how great they look.

Signworld were also contracted to provide all of The Chester Fields staff with personalised embroidered workwear, featuring branding and embroidered staff names. John Biggins, Works Director at Signworld Group remarked; “We are privileged to have been consulted on this prestigious contract and am equally pleased that the finished product has been very well received by The Chester Fields owners and customers alike. We have gained a enviable reputation within our industry for respecting the environment by collectively using a combination of natural products and fusing them together to dramatic effect.
