Signworld Deliver the Goods for Huws Gray

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

Huws Gray is the largest independent merchant of building materials in Wales and North West England. Established in 1990 in Anglesey, now with over 34 locations from Tywyn to Bolton, with brick specialists at Warrington with over 700 brick types and 8 million bricks in stock and to Gaerwen where the Huws Gray Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom lives.

With a fleet of delivery trucks, Huws Gray required fresh new vehicle graphics applied to all, further expanding the Huws Gray brand identity and impact. Contacting Signworld Group through ‘Wrap My Motor’, Huws Gray laid out a clear brief, using the signature green, red, yellow and white colours that have become so well known to Huws Gray. Signworld’s team of designers set to work with this simple but clear brief and produced several designs. A final design was chosen and not long after the first Huws Gray truck rolled up at the Signworld Group HQ in Broughton, Chester.

One of WrapMyMotor’s vehicle wrap specialists Mark worked tirelessly with the latest conformable vinyl’s which were digitally printed using Signworld’s Mimaki JV33-260 wide format digital printer. Mark worked the printed vinyl graphics into curved panels and deep ridges throughout the vehicle ensuring all panels we’re full covered. Not too long later the first Huws Gray truck wrap was complete and it was time for the next in-line to roll up.

As always, we’ve provided a small gallery of images so you can see the Huws Gray truck wrap under way. We’re very pleased with how the final graphics turned out, we’re sure you’ll agree also. Check out Huws Gray website here. Multi-Million Pound Development at King’s School

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

The prestigious King’s School in Chester, is one of the leading co-educational Independent schools in Cheshire and the surrounding area.

Signworld Group were again recently approached by The King’s School Chester, to work in partnership in designing graphics to be displayed on old and bland hoarding panels that surrounded their new exciting multi-million pound theatre development. The new major development is not due to open until summer 201 and King’s School were eager to soften the harsh appearance of the hoarding by applying attractive graphics featuring information on what the development was all about. Signworld’s team of designers took influence from The King’s School’s colour scheme and wide selection of photographic material and with only three days to design, manufacture and complete the project, Signworld went to work.

Allan Stephenson, Group Managing Director of Signworld, explained “…With the designs being quickly approved our super wide format digital printers went to work, we were able to print over 50 metres by 2.6 metres deep of continuous high quality digital print within just a few hours using our state of the art Mimaki hybrid digital printer.” The result was most spectacular and Signworld completed the entire project within the three days much to the pleasure of the team at the Kings School, as you can see from our gallery below, the final hoarding panels look great.
